Dr. Josie Lipsith
Josie was educated in Leeds, and after completing a course at Neville's Cross College, Durham, in 1972, she taught for many years in Leeds, London and Dorset, latterly specialising in children with learning difficulties.
In parallel Josie joined Relate in 1983, and trained and worked with the organisation for 16 years as a relationship counsellor, and later as psychosexual therapist, in both London and Bournemouth.
Further training saw Josie complete a postgraduate diploma, and MSc, both with distinction, in Psychosexual Therapy. More recently she has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London.
Josie currently has a private practice in Bournemouth, but retains her interest in research, and maintains contact with The Jane Wadsworth Sexual Problems Clinic, St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, where she worked as a psychosexual therapist for many years.
