Seminars are scheduled 10.00 to 16.00 hrs (London time).
One of the teaching days will be followed by a reflective group which ends 16.30 hrs.

Specialist psychosexual and couples and relationship clinical work experience, usually within a placement setting, commences 8 months into the first year. Students are required to complete 150 hours of supervised practice, ideally by the time the course completes. In exceptional circumstances, clinical hours may be extended for a further 6 months. Supervision is required for this clinical practice at a ratio of 1 supervision hour per 6 clinical hours. Students who have an established private practice may, at our discretion use all or some of their clinical hours.

As well as attending all modules students are required to attend peer support meetings on a monthly basis, of 2-3 hours duration, students are also expected to undertake self directed learning which would include relevant reading, preparation for essays and case study submission, whilst also keeping a personal journal. Students will also be expected to research a relevant topic as their second year project. The project titles, which extend to 4,000 words, will be issued at the start of Year 2. Students may be offered further CPD events during the life time of the course. Students will also need to attend at least one individual tutorial each year.
